    Why We Made Shorts

In a world where technical apparel items are overpriced, and over-engineered, we noticed that the outdoor-style short had become ridiculous. The price tag, the pockets, and the unneeded features left us wanting something simple.

The goal then became crafting shorts that offered Casual Style with Technical Performance. The material and chino style cut of our AT Plus Shorts offer just that with maximum stretch for mobility and comfort. Casual enough you can wear them out on the town, but technical enough to be worn on your next adventure.

With features like the zip front pockets, an additional 5th side utility pocket, and stretch waistband, these shorts are able to go from adventure, to yard work, to your kids soccer game in something simple, comfortable, and cut to perfection.

Pretty solid for the price, falls short in a few spots

These are solid MTB shorts for the price, but there are a couple of frustrating issues. The pocket zippers feel pretty cheap—they’re slightly recessed, which makes them awkward to close, and every time I use them, the zipper feels like it’s straining. I’m not confident in their long-term durability. Some areas of the shorts also feel a bit low-quality in terms of materials. I’m a big fan of Handup and will definitely keep supporting them, but I do hope to see improvements in the construction of their bottoms in the future.

    The perfect mountain bike short

These might just be the perfect mountain bike short! Every detail is intentional, and they fit perfectly, not too long when walking around and not too short when riding. I will definitely buy more of these in the future!

    Awesome

These are an awesome pair of shorts. The only weird thing is this hidden side pocket. It's kind of a vent but it's hard to open not sure of its purpose. Aside from that they seem well made and the integrated belt is nice.
