    Why We Made the Hot Lap Short

    As the female co-founder of HANDUP, Jamie wanted a riding short that wasn't your typical long inseam riding short. Something short enough to look normal if wearing it casually, but also long enough to provide some "rubbing" protection on the bike.

    With hidden zipper front pockets and all four pockets being deep enough to hold a large cell phone, these shorts struck that perfect balance between form and function. As Jamie says, "Great for those afternoon Hot Laps!"
    Crash Replacement

    Warranty

    All HANDUP products come with a warranty that carries up to 1-year from the original purchase dates for defects not caused by regular wear and tear.

    My Go-To Shorts

    The best! These have been my go-to shorts all summer. Perfect for a casual night out, shredding some single track and everything in between. They have the perfect amount of stretch to allow for comfort but not get baggy as you wear them. Especially love that the pockets zip. Hand-Up didn't miss a thing in the design of these shorts.More colors please!!

    Amazing Shorts for Riding and Chilling

    I have been cruising around in these shorts for about a month or so now and really enjoy them. They're perfect for wandering and hiking, but I also took them out on an XC MTB ride with liner shorts and they performed amazingly well. The material wicks super nicely. PLUS the front pockets have zippers to put car keys and such while you're riding. The two back pockets are also full sized and easily hold my giant phone.

    I usually wear a 27 jean, 4/6 pant and got the size 4/6. It fits perfect and is good on its own, but also worked well with my pearl izumi liner shorts.

    My literal only critique is that I wish they were slightly higher rise. They come up to just below my belly button, and it's just a fit preference on my end. I'm hoping these are successful and we get more colors, I'll definitely be buying again!
